    At first, learning to say ‘no’ can be very difficult because the people, with whom you’ve been interacting, have come to expect you to always say ‘yes’. Some may get angry, and you just have to know that their anger has nothing to do with you. It has to do with them: their wants, expectations and, initially, disappointment. 

    Just remember to say to yourself, “When I say ‘no’ to others, I am saying ‘yes’ to me”. That’s okay. 

    Also remember, when someone says ‘no’, they are simply saying, ‘not now’.
